**UPDATE** 7/15/2011…. Be sure to head over to Bloggers Do It Better to see how others styled the Maxi Skirt!!
Hey dolls… and gents too! This is a bit unusual for me, because I usually do not do any outfit posts on a Saturday. But change is good, right? LOL I wore this outfit actually about a month ago… I know I know, I have a habit of having pictures in my archives that I never post. I need to get better with that. But you know the saying… Better Late than NEVER! hahaha This is actually a maxi dress that I purchased a few years back at Old Navy. I love it because its versatile. I can dress it up or down. Here I wore it as a maxi skirt. I paired it with a bright pink colored tank that I got from H&M and belted it, so no one could actually tell it was a dress. You like? I carried my $.50 thrifted straw clutch too that so many of you love love love!!! You wouldn’t have even known I paid $.50 for it, huh??? If your not thrifting ladies, you don’t know what your missing.

I like how you paired this bold patterned skirt with a basic light pink tank top. It’s the perfect top to tone down and accent the skirt. Cute – Katy

You look beautiful. The accessories make the skirt pop. I didn’t have a long maxi and didn’t have time to sew one so wasn’t able to participate.
