Hi lovelies.  It’s been way too long, I know I know!!!  I’m going to get better, its just been a busy week, heck…MONTH for me!  I was sick yesterday, but I’m feeling much much better today.  I think I just had a 24 hour bug.  Any who…. this past weekend hubby and I celebrated 5 years.  WOW!  It seems like yesterday I was stressing over every detail of my wedding.  LOL  If you’ve planned a wedding, then you DEF share my feelings.  We had such a romantic evening.  Hubby surprised me with a bottle of my favorite wine and the most touching card.  He didn’t tell me where we were going, he just told me I needed to be dressed by 5p.  I had no idea what to wear, if I should dress up or what.  He just told me to “do what I do”.  I loved it, he knows me too well!  I opted to wear this deep V-neck dress that I purchased from  Asos.  I wanted to get in some color blocking before Summer ends.  I wore the dress as a top with these silk shorts I purchased from Envy Boutique the beginning of the year.  I also wore the shorts here.    Hubby was such a gem for taking these shots for me too.  ::all smiles::

So we pull up to one of my favorite restaurants Two Urban Licks.  It’s a great modern, hip and trendy restaurant.  It screams ME!  hahaha  A live band plays as well.  We sat 0utside on the balcony and I began with a glass of wine, while Hubby enjoyed a cocktail.  I think he got a white sangria or something.  I just know it was strong when I tried it. LOL  We ordered the salmon chips and the empanadas for starters.  The salmon chips are DEEEEEE LISH!!  I meant to take pictures of each starter/entre but then forgot! SORRY  For dinner, we both had the bistro steak.  YUMMY  For desert we had the chocolate bomb.  It was basically chocolate covered chocolate icecream with marshmallow infused between the chocolate.  It was soooooo good.  I love anything chocolate and marshmallows, so it was a great combination.  We watched the sunset and drank more wine and cocktails.

Shoeper Shoe Challenge #29

You may remember these leopard shoes from my Shoe Haul post here.  I’ve pretty much lost count of my shoes so I am just going along the way.  LOL  I’ve purchased way too many shoes and I know I’m no where near finished because now I will  be buying shoes for Fall/Winter. 

 We ended up at this cool spot that had a great Jazz band and then this FAB neosoul band called Miller & Co.  The singer, Deborah was absolutely AWESOME!!  She rocked it!!!!  She was such a sweetheart too.  She came around to everyone in the builing and introduced her.  I thought that was so personable of her.  Her and her band are the BOMB.com  If your in Atlanta and you want a real nice place to chill out, get your drink on and listen to great music on a Saturday night, I’d highly recommend this place.  She sings every Saturday unless she has a show.  She also sings backup for a group, but for the most part, she said she is here every single Saturday.
