 Last week I attended the US Weekly party at Aurum Lounge.  I had so much FUN!!  I would have to say, this has been the almost best event I’ve been to this year (the BEST was the Fashionable Atlanta Bloggers Meet-Up..haha).  I met up with  other Fashionable ATL bloggers, seen in the picture above and below.   The Moscato and Red Wine was flowing all night along with some light h’orderves.  The photographers were so friendly and didn’t hesitate to ask to help them with a shot.  Who knows, you may see us in US Weekly Mag sometime soon!  That would be NIIIICE!  The DJ was on point and we danced and danced and danced.  It was a FAB time.

So, lets talk about the DRESS!!   I wore this dress one other time for NYE 2008.  Yes, almost 4 years ago.  I think it still looks pretty Haute and I love it just as much now as I did when I purchased it from Bebe.  It’s been hanging in the back of my closet, so I thought what perfect time to wear it again…to this FAB US Weekly party.  It was perfect for the evening and don’t you just LOVE the color???!?!?  I accessorized it with a leopard belt, gold jewelry and nude pumps.  VOILA!  I got tons of compliments.  You think I can pull it out my closet in another 4 years????????  LOL

Everyone has been asking me how I slicked my hair down so good and into a BUN!  OK, first I have a confession… the bun is a piece that I purchased from the beauty supply store for $7.99.  I’m in that in between stage with my hair because I am trying to grow it back out.  I miss wearing my messy updos and buns.  My hair grows pretty fast so by this time next year, it will be way longer!!  I’m hoping anyway!  LOL  My stylist, Terion,  was out of town for his birthday so I just had to play it up all by myself.  I love Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade.  This is some goooood stuff.  NO, this is some grrrrrrreat stuff!  I have natural hair so its always hard to slick my hair down into a smooth,tight ponytail.  This stuff does the trick!!  Try it and see…
