Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Trina again for Mamanista Fridays and today it is all about the Cardigan. I am not really happy about these photos. They looked great on my camera, but once I loaded them and edited & resized them in iPhoto, I feel like they are blurred now… I need to learn how to use iPhoto, I guess. Any way, I am rocking a cardigan that my mother-in-law gifted to me. I love it. I can dress it up to wear with slacks or rock them with jeans or leggings. Leggings… that is the best way I love wearing cardigans. They are long enough to cover your butt, because y’all know leggings are not pants and if you’re not working out, they should not be worn as such. PSA! hahahaha If you do wear them, you absolutely must wear a tunic or cardigan long enough to cover that butt! #thatisall hahahaha
Cardigans are very versatile and I love me a versatile piece. I’m also obsessed with a great cardi.
What I’m Wearing: tuxedo pants/blouse via H&M • cardigan(gifted) • nude pumps via Dilliards(Jessica Simpson) • skinny belt(old) • watch via Michele
Do you love a great Cardigan?
It’s week 2 of Lipgloss & Binky’s Project 52 and this week it was all about “Morning”. I am by no means a morning person…Like NO MEANS!!! The #2 key ingredient to get my day started each day is COFFEE (#1 is my Baby M- I have to get my day started, no matter what, just for him)!!! All I need is 1 cup and I am all good. But I don’t just drink ANY cup of coffee. Yes, I love a Grande Caramel Macchiato with extra whip and extra caramel drizzle or a Grande White Chocolate Mocha with extra whip and extra drizzle from Starbucks, but sometimes, I just want to make my own Starbucks at home.
There are 3 ingredients you need to make this delicious Charee Leneé version. HAHAHA I love how these photos turned out. I used the tip that Lipgloss & Binky suggested. Head over to her site to see the great photography tips she gave…
Now, don’t you want a cup? Mmmmmmmmm!
This mama was on the GO! My apologies for the quickie post, but I wanted to get this in before Trina aka Baby Shopaholic shuts down her Link Up. Mamanista Friday’s (better late than never) was all about styling scarves. It’s been super chilly here in Atlanta lately, even though we DID have 65 degree weather today, so it was perfect for me to throw on this infinity scarf! I styled this outfit one weekend when I was running around with Baby M (I’m thinking I need to start calling him Toddler M now- Hehehe). Easiest outfit ever…Grab a pair of leggings, a tunic, some riding boots, and a stylish coat. I opted for this cute leather/army cargo style jacket. I LOVE this Jacket and its so old. Those are the best ones, aren’t they…the vintage items you pull out of your closet. LOL!
WHAT I WORE: leggings/scarf via Target • tunic (old) • Jacket via Nordstrom(old) • Riding Boots via Tory Burch • Bag via LV • watch via Michele
What is your favorite way to style scarves?
Well, Well, Well… Look who is back!!! Yep, that would be me. I think after a whole two years off, I should get back in the swing of things and what better way to start off 2015 than with a blog post. I am going to try to participate with Lipgloss&Binky for 52 weeks, as she gives Photography tips on taking a better photo. ::fingers crossed:: that I can make it the full 52 weeks! #motivation
Week 1 is all about YOU! So I decided to do an OOTD Celfié post. So, who am I? I’m a mommy, wife, fashion addict, insurance broker, daughter, sister, lover of all sweets, junk food junkie (I’m trying to eat healthier for 2015), Mimi gave a great tip on taking your own photos using a tripod and/or remote. I have been using a tripod on self-timer to take my own photos since about year 2 (2011) of blogging. I currently use the Nikon D5100 with the standard lens. I took these photos with my tripod.
I’m also linking up with Baby Shopaholic for Mamanista Fridays. The link up for Friday was Winter Casual. So, let’s get to what I am wearing. I paired floral pants with this cape, that I adore and my over-the-knee boots. When you’re a mommy of a toddler, it’s all about easy style.
“Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t find the time.”
Happy New Year from Charee Leneé
I Miss You!!!!!! Yep, can you believe I had the nerve to peek my head in on you guys after all this time? I will be back soon lovelies, just been giving 100% of my time to my sweet son while also being a Full Time working woman and wife. Yep, I’m SUPERWOMAN! hahahaha
Can you believe my sweet baby boy is 1? Well he is over 1 now, but time flew by so fast. I remember when he was just a “jellybean” in my tummy! Now he is in school and walking, running, jumping, climbing…all of the above. LOL
We celebrated 1 year back in June and I must say it was a blast… There was a jump house, a kiddie pool, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and FUN! It was an absolute great time.

Be sure to follow on INSTAGRAM, if you’re not already. I frequently post, pictures of Baby M (he is 14.5 months old now), outfit pictures and just day to day things that I can’t find the time to blog about.
Hi loves. It has been a while, hasn’t it? As I am doing this blog post it is 5am. Yeah, me…Blogging…at 5 am!!! What the what! hahahaha I started a new job so I haven’t been able to blog as much as I could. But no frets, I’ll be back in the swing of things in no time. I’m really really loving the new gig. Everyone is so very nice and like I mean nice for real. But anyway, let me move on to today’s post. I’m linking up with my girl Eboni of The Fashionista Next Door and it’s all about white pants. now y’all know me. I rock a white pant any time of the year, any season. I don’t follow fashion rules, I break em all. LOL I als.o thought it would be fitting to wear black and white… another hot trend for Spring. Y’all know I love my black and white!!!! LOL
I wore these tuxedo pants yesterday to work! I love them!!!! Anywho, sorry for the quick post, but head on over to see all the other fashionista’s down the street and their take on this trend!
Have a great weekend dolls!!!!
Happy Monday! The weekends seem to come and go by so fast. It seems like it was just Friday on yesterday. hahhaaha So I’ve took the Pretty Girls Rock (PGR) Dresses Spring/Summer Dress Challenge. I’m committed to rock a dress, skirt, or feminine pant suit at least three days a week. I challenge you to participate as well. This won’t be hard for me because I love a cute dress. I’d wear a dress every single day!! I love my dresses y’all! hahaha Is it SPRING yet? Y’all know how I hate the cold weather and live for warm/hot days. I am so ready for Spring/Summer to get here. I just want to get ready for pool days and days at the beach! Baby M went to the beach in Aruba while he was still just my lil “jellybean” but I want him to be able to put his toes in the sand and feel the water between those toesies. He loves the water and we all know he gets that from his mommy!!! hahaha
peplum dress – H&M (Similar here) | shoes – Jessica Simpson via Heels.com (Sold Out) | blazer – Vintage | sunnies – RayBans c/o SmartBuyGlasses | watch – Michael Kors
So that brings us to this fabulous coral peplum dress that I purchased from H&M last Summer. I am just now getting around to wearing it. I purchased it right after Baby M was born so I still have that baby belly in effect so I couldn’t quite rock it yet. I also was a newbie at breastfeeding, so I was always wearing convenient tops or wrap dresses for easier access. Now that I am a breastfeeding pro, I know how to unzip the back to take an arm out and still be in any piece of clothing. hahahhaa Yes y’all, I’m a PRO now. LOL! LOL!
And these SHOES!! I have literally had these shoes FOR-EVER. You might remember when I wore them for the very 1st time here. It’s ashame that this it only my 2nd time wearing this GORGEOUS shoe, but that’s how it is sometimes. Especially when you have a closet full of shoes! SMH!! Oh yeah, if you are a size 7.5-8.5, I am going to sell some of my shoes and clothes guys. I’ll give you all the deets soon, but I have GOT to clean out my closet AGAIN to make room for some new items since nothing fits me anymore, plus I just need to purge my closet. So I’ll keep you all posted on Shopping My Closet!!!
Do you love wearing Dresses?
It’s Friday! It’s Friday! It’s Friday! Y’all know that means Style Me Friday with The Fashionista Next Door. The look today is all about sweatpants and heels. Y’all may remember I wore this trend here, last year. I love it!! I love sweats and I love me a fierce heel. hahaha So you know I was happy to see this as a SMF choice!!
sweatpants (old) – H&M (Similar here and here) | t shirt (old) – Fashion’s Night Out (here) | shoes (old) – Sole Society (50% sale going on NOW) | blazer – Colors of Beneton (Similar here) | clutch – Vince Camuto (Similar here) | sunnies – RayBans c/o SmartBuyGlasses (here) | watch, bracelets & earrings – Target | lippie – Wet-n-Wild 911D – Stoplight Red
I’ve had these sweatpants for EVER! I love them because of the pockets and baggy feel to them. They were perfect for pulling this look together. I ran to the store to get a few items and I kept getting looks and heads turned to look. hahhaaha One older lady, she looked like she was in her 70’s said, “Sweats with heels, that’s a first. But girl you did that”. LOL LOL It was so funny!! I jsut laughed and thanked her.
How FABULOUS is that clutch. This was one of the things Hubs got me along with some Vince Camuto perfume back for V-Day. I love my booboos!! I love this clutch and don’t be surprised if you see a lot more of it. I can even fit my iPad inside. So scoot right on over to see the other fashionista’s down the street for their take of this look.
Have a fabulous weekend!!!
This past weekend, I was invited out to help Sadiddy Magazine celebrate 1 year! WooooHooo! I’m so happy for my girl , Editor in Chief, Adrienne (and my Birthday Twin) and Tiffany, the Art Director. These ladies are truly the H.B.I.C!!!!!! I’m excited to see what the years to come have to offer!
(LtoR) Adrienne; Tiffany
It was a fabulous, intimate event with a Nail Bar, Candy Bar and a WINE Bar. I’m still nursing Baby M so I didn’t get to indulge in the continuous flow of Moscato (my FAVE). Daddy was called into work the morning of the event, so Baby M tagged along with me, so I didn’t get to indulge in the Nail Bar either. I was so envious because the nail stylist was putting it DOWN!! I DID however, indulge in the CANDY BAR!! Yum Yum Yummy!!!! Y’all know I am sweets-a-holic…. is that even a word? hahahahaha
I wore this Kirna Zabête for Target dress because I knew I had Baby M and I just wanted to be comfy. You might remember, I also wore it here (awwwwww, look how tiny Baby M was back then). I just remixed it with a black skinny belt and yellow pumps. Baby M is wearing The Children’s Place jeans, Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, and Nike Air Max shoes. See more photos from the event here.
Congrats to #TeamSadiddy on a great year!!
The weather here has been a bit frigid but this past Sunday, the weather was Ahhhhhh mazing! Can you believe it was 72 degrees? It was a gorgeous sunshiney day! I was able to wear my new
vintage Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses that SmartBuyGlasses sent over for me to try. I’m really digging them!!! Y’all know how I love my BIG frames, but I wanted to try something different. Change is good, right? Plus, they are still kinda oversized for my face, so I am really loving them. If you are a fan of Ray Bans, then you already know why I love these sunnies so much. I mean the name speaks for itself. SmartBuyGlasses offers up to 50% off retail, FREE shipping (and all of us online shoppers LOVE that), a FREE lens kit (a $20 value), a 14 day return policy, a charity program, and 3D Try On. SmartBuyGlasses is fully dedicated to providing customers with Designer Sunglasses, Prescription glasses, contact lenses, optical products and optical services at the best possible prices.
Sunglasses – Ray Ban Wayfarer
What I love most is the charity program. SmartBuyGlasses donates a pair of glasses for each pair purchased to one of their charity partners, Unite for Sight, OneSight, and Lions Recycle for Sight. There are over 300 million people around the world who don’t have access to glasses or are unable to learn or work because they can’t see clearly. In these impoverished communities, a pair of glasses can create a purposeful life and an opportunity for employment. Imagine what glasses means for an aspiring student learning to read or a factory worker hand painting small crafts. Glasses going towards a great cause is everything to me. I love companies that give back!
I love the brown frames and how stylish they are. I also love how they are unisex, so the Hubs could wear them, IF he wanted to. Be sure to get in on the Spring Sale happening.
Be sure to get a better glimpse of my Ray Bans here on my YouTube channel.
Do you need new sunglasses?

It’s Friday!!! YAY!!!! So, you know what that means… Style Me Friday with The Fashionista Next Door. Today’s look is all about “A Bright Coat”. I went with this vintage emerald green blazer that I’ve had in my closet FOR-EVER! What better color than Pantone‘s color of the year, right?

I don’t know if you all noticed, but I am getting more into MAKE-UP and I am having FUN FUN FUN!! hahahaha I am wearing Lancôme Hypnôse Star mascara and Wet-n-Wild ” 918D – Cherry Bomb” lippie. I’ve also got on some illuminating powder. I am addicted to buying beauty products now…

I have quite a few favorite things that have been total life savers to me since having Baby M. The most important thing to me when it comes to products is Health & Safety. Lavanila Laboratories THE HEALTHY BABY COLLECTION is amazing. I have been using the Healthy Baby Wash and the Healthy Baby Butter for the past week. Baby M has a few spots of dry skin patches on his arm and back (it isn’t eczema, just some small dry patches). I bathed him in the Healthy Baby Wash, which is also a shampoo for his hair. I love it, but I must say the only thing that I didn’t like about the wash is it doesn’t get really sudsy. The wash comes out as a foam and I had to use a little more than I usually would to get those extra suds. The wash moisturizes his skin so well.
I use the Healthy Baby Butter over his entire body. This stuff is Ahhhhhhh Mazing! It has the softest baby scent and it is very light and not too oily. I love that this product is oily but it is so light that it doesn’t leave Baby M’s skin extra oily!!
What I love the most about The Healthy Baby Collection is that it’s 100% natural, chemical-free (which is extremly important to Mommy’s), and it delivers 30 essential vitamins and minerals specifically formulated to support the health and development of delicate baby skin. This product is Certified Organic. Which is great since Baby M only eats organic. These products have NO sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicone, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, mineral oil, formaldehyde, or synthetic fragrance or dyes. That is so very important to me and I’m sure to most of you Mommies too! Def MOMMY APPROVED!!!! hahahha You can purchase this product online at Lavanila.*A sample product was gifted from Lavanila Laboratories. The opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
How important is 100% Natural & Baby Safe products to you and your little one?
A couple weekends ago, I attended Fashion Uncorked. Fashion Uncorked is a design competition to benefit the children at Easter Seals North Georgia, Inc. I went to the 1st show back in 2011 and it was one of the best events that I had attended since becoming a Style Blogger. As always, this years event did not disappoint. There was great food, music and fashion.
My two favorite looks of the evening was this hand painted colored dress for day wear designed by Sara Shelton and this retro funky gown for evening wear by designer Keon Brown. Can you believe this dress is water colors?? How fabulous is that? You can view more photos here.
GRAND PRIZE WINNER:
Congratulations to Keon Brown for winning Fashion Uncorked 2013!!
Cramel won tickets to this event as one of my readers and a fellow blogger babe. She blogs at Boutique Freak.
You don’t want to miss this show for next year!!! It is a great fashion event that supports an even greater cause!!!!
Uuuugggghhh I hate that I am squinting for my whole photo session today! The sun is shining bright like a diamond today! LOL I should have put on my shades, but oh well, you get the outfit, thats all that matters. hahahaha
TGIF!!! It’s that time again for Style me Friday with The Fashionista Next Door and it is all about “Daytime Sparkle”. I love this look because I have tons and tons of sequin in my closet. I don’t have any sequin pants ( I must get a pair still) so I wore this dress that I purchased from Arden B a loooooong time ago. I’m wearing it as a skirt today. I love versatile pieces that I can remix!
dress worn as skirt – Arden B (Similar) | striped top – GAP maternity (Similar) | shoes – Just Fab “Ariane” | bag – COACH
As always, head over to The Fashionista Next Door to check out the fashionistas down the street on their take of Daytime Sparkles.
