This mama was on the GO! My apologies for the quickie post, but I wanted to get this in before Trina aka Baby Shopaholic shuts down her Link Up. Mamanista Friday’s (better late than never) was all about styling scarves. It’s been super chilly here in Atlanta lately, even though we DID have 65 degree weather today, so it was perfect for me to throw on this infinity scarf! I styled this outfit one weekend when I was running around with Baby M (I’m thinking I need to start calling him Toddler M now- Hehehe). Easiest outfit ever…Grab a pair of leggings, a tunic, some riding boots, and a stylish coat. I opted for this cute leather/army cargo style jacket. I LOVE this Jacket and its so old. Those are the best ones, aren’t they…the vintage items you pull out of your closet. LOL!
WHAT I WORE: leggings/scarf via Target • tunic (old) • Jacket via Nordstrom(old) • Riding Boots via Tory Burch • Bag via LV • watch via Michele
What is your favorite way to style scarves?
Happy hump day. It’s Wednesday and almost the weekend!! WoooHooo And guess what… It’s my birthday!!! I’ve turned another year older. So many people wonder how old I am but all I will say is this, “I am still in my 30’s”! That.Is.All! hahhhahhaahhhahha If you know me or have hung out with me, you know my age. So if you do… shhhhhhhh! LOL LOL LOL No, I’m kidding. If you want to know, just ask!Target ● oxblood booties – JustFab ● clutch- Bakers
OK, so I was in Target a few weeks ago and saw this cute dress. I had no idea it was even KIRNA ZABÊTE until I looked at the tag. Call me late, but I had no idea there was a line at Target. I’m sooooo late… Anyway, I snatched this dress up real quick. It is just too cute. I love the print and I love the high/low detail, a huge trend that will still be haute for Fall. There were tons of other great pieces so be sure to get out to your local Target to snatch yourself up a few items. Oxblood is HUGE right now and can you believe I bought these booties last year? You might remember me wearing them here also.
M got in on the action with me too. He wasn’t really feeling it today, so these are the best shots he took. LOL It was nap time, so he was like, enough already! M is wearing Calvin Klein pants and top with GAP socks. The outfit was a gift from my cousin who you might as well say is my sister, because that is just how close we are.
Do you shop Target or, as I like to say, Tarjay?
Good morning loves. It’s Monday!!! How was your weekend? I had a great weekend… that makes 3 weekends in a row. I was supposed to go hang out with Trina for her birthday, but the Hubs failed to tell me we had plans to go to a birthday party. (I thought it was going to be a “guys night”). So I had to change my plans… *sigh* But it was OK, because we had a BLAST! The DJ was Ahhhhh mazing. He had the whole party jamming. I don’t think I’ve danced like that in a loooong time. It felt good to have a “date night” with the hubs. Hubs and I didn’t stay out long, because I started having separation anxiety from my lil man. hahhhahaaha
This is when Mason started to get bored!! LOL (*notice the YAWN)Similar) & leopard loafers (Similar) or (Similar)- Target ● white top- H&M ● watch- Michael Kors ● bracelet- Tiffany ● belt- Thrifted Mason is wearing Ralph Lauren Polo layette ● GAP socks
Last week, Mason and I went and met my girlfriend for lunch and some light shopping. If you’ve wondered what I would wear to a lunch outing with baby, this is it. You know my 2 favorite C’s… cute and comfy!!! I scored these seafoam green denim pants from Target for $22 awhile back. I’m loving wearing the colored denim and its still haute for Fall, so don’t pack them away just yet.
What is your comfy & cute outfit while out with the kiddies?
Have you heard of Everybody, Everywear? If you haven’t, be sure to head on over and check it out. The Classic Blazer is the “it” for today. Check out the website to see how many of us blogin-ista’s have styled the blazer.
I have so many blazers in all shapes in sizes. Cropped, boyfriend, colored, military… I could go on and on. i get a lot of my blazers at Thrift stores, believe it or not. There are tons of FAB blazers that are at Thrift stores and they are only like $5.00. That’s why I have so many. You can never have too many blazers. I think its another must have item for your closet!
Today I decided to wear this grape colored polyester blazer that I bought from Talbot’s a while back with a maxi dress. I completed the look with my Michael Kors wrap belt that you can find here. It’s originally $45 but I bought mine at Marshall’s for $15.00 (a great steal)! It’s reversible, so thats what made me buy it… 2 belts in 1. Don’t be afraid to “spruce” up your blazer with a skinny belt and/or an infinity scarf. Don’t be afraid to add accessories!!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday!! What team are you rooting for? I’m not a fan of Green Bay and I’m not a fan of Steelers, but I am going to go for the Steelers. ONLY because my big brother is a HUGE Steelers fan and has been ever since he was old enough to know anything about football. So I’m going with his team. They aren’t playing so good, but hopefully after the halftime show they will get back in the game. Two things I love aboutthe Super Bowl….see who sings the National Anthem and how well they do it and the Half Time show. Christina Aguilera sang that…not sing, but SANG it!! Now I’m just waiting for the half time show and I am sure the Black Eyed Peas are going to kill it too.
I wore this outfit probably two weeks ago. I just hadn’t posted it yet. I wore it when we were having such beautiful weather, that’s why I’m not so bundled up. I’ve had this dress for quite awhile. I don’t even shop at Level X anymore(I’m not even sure they are still open), so I know I’ve had it a long long long time. LOL I paired it with these printed tights that I bought from Target for $5.00. I bought a whole bunch of printed tights and said I was going to start wearing them because they have just been sitting in my sock drawer just waiting. I got so many compliments on them too. The shoes I got from Just Fab last summer and can you believe this is my first time wearing them? LOL I decide to wear them in the Winter, imagine that! LOL
Well, I’m going to get back to the game and all the good snacks… GO STEELERS!!!
Isn’t she just adorable and full of flare!?! Ayanna is 8 years old and styled her own outfit. I would say she is a style-ista in the making for sure! She paired her Nike Air Jordan’s with a fun polka dot tutu style skirt and vintage red sweater. She completed the look with black leggings. This is just too cute!!! Thanks so much Ayanna for submitting your daily outfit!
