OPI – Its Totally Fort Worth It

Hello beauties.  I know its been awhile since I last posted.  SO SO SO sorry…I’ll get it together sooner or later. LOL  These are the first shots I took with my new DSLR  camera that I just got  *happy dance*.  I’ll chat with you all on that later!!!  This is going to be a quick post to support Miss Rockwell over at Lifestyles of the Thrifty and Shameless.  She is hosting the FBFF this week and its all about DIY Manicures.  It’s supposed to be about all the unique stylish manicure designs, but I’m going to pull the “plain jane” today.  I’m VERY plain when it comes to my nail polish.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE color but I’m not so much into designs.  Who would have thought, huh?  I’m also not one to be matchy matchy with hand and toe polish.  Like now, I’m wearing this OPI, Its Totally Fort Worth on my hands and wearing a Too Hot Pink To Hold’ Em on my toe nails (not pictured).  LOL    I also don’t care too much about brand of polish.  The only polish that lasts long is on my toes.  I haven’t come across a polish yet that stays on my hands longer than 2 days….if you know of a polish, pleassssse let me know!

So which do you prefer…  Designs or the “Plain Jane” look????

  1. Your nails look SO GOOD. I love the color!! Great job with your manicure!! I’m not participating this week, mostly because my nails are a hot mess right now.

I love OPI! My fave colors are You Don’t Know Jacques, Black Cherry Chutney and Light My Sapphire. I will post my DIY later this weekend. But you are not alone, I too opt out of the nail designs, I prefer nude colors or a dark color on my fingers and toes.

Like that color girlie……most OPI usually lasts for me…some of the China Glaze and Sally Hansen last long as well.

  4. You’re nails are so nice and neat you do a great job! Your wedding ring is a beauty!
P.S. my polish was only $1 too. lol.

I never match my toes and fingers. I either do a bright or nude on my toes :) Occasionally, I like to go just simple and let the color speak for itself but I’m typically doing some kind of nail art ;)

  6. I like both, depending on my mood. My fingers and toes never match, either. As long as they don’t clash, I don’t mind, actually.

I love that color on your nails! Have you tried the Seche Vite top coat? It literally dries in seconds and it makes my mani last over a week!

I’m all about loud intense colors and glitter this summer. I tend to go more neutral in the fall / winter. I love seche vite top coat. I also started using orly’s binder as a base coat. I’ve been able to extend a bit further. I’m prone to chippage too. I really like the polish strips that are out now. The sally Hansen ones hold up really well.

Love the OPI color! I’ll have to try to find this. It is like a neutral with glitz! Great MANI!

You guys continue to inspire me to try self-manicures/polish. These are fantastic colors and may try again with OPI to see if I get a better result. BTW, the new flicks are so clear. I secretly jealous about that new cam of yours.

  11. This is simple yet very effective. It compliments your skin tone very well. And I too, have yet to find a polish that lasts more than 3 days tops…that’s in the way!

What a nice color! I just went to Ulta today but I might need to go back and look for that :)

  13. Alaina says:

I really like that color…it’s neutral with a slight edge! I love OPI’s two new lines coming out…I might look into that color and I’m going to try Khloe had a lil Lam Lam from their Kardashian Line.
