Happy Tuesday Fashion Lovers!!!!! Color Blocking is the one trend this Spring that I want to have FUN with. I just want to go all out and enjoy it. I was a little subtle here since I did have to go into the office. I didn’t want to get any side eyes and crazy looks for Color Blocking. I mean, everyone can’t be as Fashionable as we are, right? LOL I actually wore this outfit a couple weeks ago, maybe even a few weeks ago. I thought it’d be the perfect outfit to share with you all while participating in Bloggers Do It Better. If you want to participant, go ahead and head on over to Pretty Shiny Sparkly to get all the details.
So, what is Color Blocking you ask? It’s simple… C O L O R!! Don’t be afraid of it. Pair a pair of red pants with a yellow top and pink skinny belt OR wear a bright yellow skirt with a coral top and a green skinny belt…..that is all color blocking! Just put on color and don’t think twice about it. LOL The key to color blocking, in my opinion, is….. Don’t Be Afraid Of Color! Color is your best friend. Especially for Spring and Summer. If your a little leery and unsure, try blocking oranges and corals with creams and soft neutrals. That will tone things down a little for you until you want to go a little bolder! Just have FUN with it….that is what it’s all about anyway!

I must be afraid of color! lol I hardly have color in my wardrobe, but I’m working on it. You look great. I love how you paired every piece. Very Chic!
You look so pretty! I love this color blocking. For me, color blocking will be a bit difficult..most of my closet is black and gray!
So fab! I love that dress (that you so smartly wore as a dress!) … that color is gorgeous! Loving the leopard belt too. 😉
of course I meant that your smartly wore as a SKIRT! I need to do that more with my dresses.
I love it Charee!!!! When I saw the very first pic, I was thinking you’d have on some nude shoes when I scrolled down! WHEW!!!! You sure surprised me!! I would have never thought to do the red (colorblocked) shoes, but it works soooooooo well with this! Glad you did use more color on the bottom too! LOVE IT!!!!!
A+, right down to your awesome color blocked shoes!

Such a lovely look!!! The purple and green are so pretty together, and the shoes and leopard belt are a great finishing touch!!
Ooh Charee! Yes, yes, yes! I love these colors together. So unexpected! I love the leopard belt to break it up. nice touch! and I see you takin’ it to the next level with the color blocked heels, too. WORK!!! lol.
You look like a tall drink of water in that combo! Love that color green…
I LOVE the green and purple together. The white watch, pearls and leopard belt add such a POP. I’ll definitely be using this outfit as inspiration! 🙂
I love this. It looks like fun. I tend to be too careful about color, blacks with blacks, browns with browns etc. I’m going to add more color.
Well done. I love the white watch! This outfit would not be complete without that awesome belt. I need one of those! 🙂
The green and purple look amazing together. I love the hint of animal print from your belt. Love the colors in your shoes too. You look amazing from head to toe!
Love the colorblocking outfit!

You have the color-blocking down! I have to say, though, that my favorite parts of this outfit are the accessories. I LOVE your mixture of bracelets, and I’ve been workin’ the white watch, too!

LMAOOOOOO!! Thank you Marquita!! I wanna see your outfit too girl!!!
I love this color combination! The belt and shoes accent it just right. I usually wear neutral colors but this color-blocking challenge has me inspired to go all out too!
I have been in love with this color combo since I first saw it in a British teen mag in 1997! But I have never tried the mint green and lavender before. I’m wearing the saturated version of these colors at the moment but I don’t know why I’ve never tried this particular version. It looks so beautiful on you and now, I wanna try it again! 🙂
Love the color blocking!! Very cute!
